Field Trip Planning

Wouldn't you like someone else to help you put together a special field trip for your class or for your child and a group of his/her friends? Planning a field trip takes a lot of extra time and effort that you could be putting towards something else. I have experience planning, organizing and running field trips including bus requests and parent letters and getting chaperones and putting kids into teams and actually supervising the field trip. Let me be your travel agent!

Some trip ideas include:
  • the Old Man on the Mountain and the Basin or the Flume,
  • the Christa McAuliffe Planetarium or the Plymouth State College Planetarium
  • Museum of Science in Boston
  • Museum of Fine Arts
  • Boston Children's Museum
  • the Ocean
  • America's Stonehenge
  • Polar Caves
  • Plymouth, MA- Plimouth Plantation or Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge, CT
  • Salem, MA- Whaling Museum and real history on the Salem Witch Trials
  • Various theatre experiences-ie. the Palace Theatre, the marionnette theatre in Peterborough
  • Canobie Lake Park for physics experiments
  • King Richard's Faire of medieval delights in Carver, Mass. for a weekend trip for a small group of interested students
  • Your own neat Idea for a trip

I would be happy to design pre and post trip curriculum packages to accompany the trip and to come along with you as trip supervisor to assist with solving any possible unexpected problems that come up.
